Alpha Attendance Privacy Policy

Alpha Attendance is an internal workforce application provided by WhiteAluminium Egypt for authorized employees. This policy explains how information is used when employees access attendance and human resources services through the app.
Platform Availability
The application is a workforce management and attendance platform designed for use by multiple companies and organizations. It is not limited to a single company or organization.
Any company may subscribe to the platform and use its services, including employee attendance tracking, payroll management, requests management, notifications, and workforce administration.
The application serves employees and organizations across multiple business sectors through a shared platform while maintaining strict separation and protection of each organization's data.
Information We Process
- Employee account, name, employee code, company, and work profile.
- Attendance records, check-in and check-out times, and work location.
- Precise GPS location when an employee performs a GPS attendance action.
- Camera/selfie images used for identity verification where required.
- Leave, permission, overtime, payroll, payslip, and notification information.
- Basic device, app version, and diagnostic information needed for security and support.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to authenticate employees, validate attendance, provide HR and payroll services, prevent misuse, support users, and maintain application security.
Sharing and Tracking
Employee information is not sold and is not used for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. Information may be accessed by authorized company personnel and service providers only when needed to operate or support the company's systems.
Storage and Security
App data is transmitted over HTTPS to the company's Odoo environment. Access is restricted by employee credentials and company authorization. Records are retained according to company HR, payroll, legal, and security requirements.
Location and Camera Permissions
Location is requested during GPS attendance actions to verify an approved work location. Camera access is requested when a selfie is required for attendance identity verification. Employees can manage permissions in iOS Settings, although disabling them may prevent those attendance features from working.
Attendance Photos and Face Data
The application does not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, or any form of biometric analysis.
For attendance verification purposes, the application may capture a photo during employee check-in and check-out. These photos are used solely to verify attendance records and workforce management activities.
The captured photos are securely transmitted and stored on the company's backend servers. The photos are not shared with any third parties and are only accessible to authorized personnel responsible for attendance management.
Attendance photos are retained for 60 days from the date of capture and are automatically deleted after the retention period expires.
The collected photos are never used for advertising, marketing, profiling, biometric identification, or any purpose unrelated to attendance verification.
Employee Rights and Requests
Employees may contact the company to request assistance regarding their account or personal information, subject to applicable employment and legal record-retention requirements.
